Installing and Updating Commission Tool

Steps before Updating

Before updating Commission Tool, exit any versions of Commission Tool currently running and unload the Dali Bus Server in your system tray (on the bottom right corner; an icon with a lightbulb) by right-clicking and selecting Exit DALIBusServer.

If the Installer fails because it is unable to write to certain files, it may be a good idea to reboot before retrying the update.

Installer and Updater Process

Commission Tool is controlled and updated by the Maco Software Updater.  Upon running the installer follow the simple steps:

Click Next to continue.

Select a Destination Folder (it is recommended that the default be used) and Click Install.

 If you wish Commission Tool to be run immediately after the installer finishes, leave the Run Commission Tool box ticked.
