Upgrading

Upgrading your "updater" from versions lower than V0.9.0 will require the user to close the updater for the update process to install correctly. Below you can find instructions on how to close the updater.

When upgrading for a version prior to v0.9.0, during the installation process a warning will appear indicating that some files to be updated are currently in use and ask the user to firstly close the updater. When this occurs simply follow the three easy steps outlined below and in the following screenshots:

  1. Close the updater main window by clicking the 'X' in the upper right corner.
  2. Close the updater by right clicking its system tray icon and selecting 'Close'.
  3. Finally, click the 'Try Again' button in the installation warning window.

 

If all steps were followed correctly the installation process should continue.
