How to Replace a Light Fitting in the NetworkReplacing a device on the wireless network can be performed in a few simple steps. Navigate to the device list page from the main menu. The device list will show the complete list of devices connected to the network. A faulty device would normally appear with a communication issue. [refer to the status icons page to determine how to identify a comms issue] Click on the device which you want to replace. The specific details referring to this device will load, and you will be informed of a comms error. Navigate to the bottom of the page and locate the replace device button.

Assuming that you have physically replaced the device, click on the replace device button. This will take you to the following screen.

Once the system has finished searching for new devices, press the test switch on the replaced device. The device should flash and the screen will indicate to you that the device has been replaced. The system automatically ensures that this replacement is logged, and updates the information in the database and the device.
