Status Icons
Maco Lighting's control software displays status icons to indicate failures and status details of devices. This makes it easy for the user to understand the problems or status of the product within seconds. Below is the list of icons and descriptions of their meanings. Depending on the type of product, a different product icon is shown. The product icon is tailored to look exactly like the product to reduce confusion. On/Off
To indicate that a device is lit its status icon will be in colour. Devices that have been turned off or cannot turn on due to failure will be greyed out to reflect their status. Non-Maintained emergency product would therefore be greyed unless the lamp is switched on Battery Failure
This icon indicates that the battery of a device is either not connected or is no longer functioning correctly. Unless the battery has been unplugged, this would mean that the battery requires replacement. Lamp Failure
This icon indicates that the lamp has been damaged or removed. Devices with this icon should have their lamps replaced. Communication Error
This icon indicates that a communications error has occurred. Wireless devices should be checked for range and interference. DALI devices should be examined to make sure they are still physically connected to the DALI bus. Another common cause of this error is if the device has failed. Wireless Device
A device will have this wireless icon in the lower left corner if it uses the wireless bus to communicate. |
