Maco Software Updater

The Software Updater is very easy to install. The user does not need to be adept at using a computer but some steps are best explained.
The installer package can be obtained from www.macolighting.com. Simply click the download link and choose 'Run'. Once downloaded the install process will begin and the user will be prompted for further action. Windows Vista/7 users may be prompted by User Access Control (UAC), if it is enabled, to allow the installer to execute. To continue simply select 'Yes'.
	Once the installer begins click 'Next'. The user is presented with the terms and conditions of use and the license agreement; please read these carefully. You may only install the software if you agree, if so select 'I Agree' and click 'Next'.
	This screen allows the user to select a different install location. However, it is recommended that the default is used to ensure no conflicts with system setup. Click 'Next' to continue and wait for the installation to complete.
Finally the user may select whether to automatically start the Software Updater after the installer closes. It is recommended this option be used to ensure you receive alerts about updates or special offers.
Uninstallation is also straight-forward. Users should locate the 'Control Panel' and open 'Add/Remove Programs', select 'Maco Lighting Software Updater' and click 'Remove'.
